There are instructions for doing mailmerge at One-On-One Training company which has a free newsletter you can subscribe to. These instructions were taken from that and saved as Microsoft Word documents.
These are: Create a Mail Merge Letter, Create Mail Merge Envelopes, Create Mail Merge Labels, and Use a Separate Header Source. In addition, Microsoft has this tutorial on mailmerge which should be informative.
You can find many references to online tutorials on the Internet. Use your favorite search engine and type in "Microsoft word tutorial", for example, in the search dialog. Then click go and you will be taken to many, many sites that have online tutorials about Microsoft Word. My favorite search engine is Google. I found the following links and references using Google.
