Terms of Service

Welcome to our forum. We hope you enjoy your time here and ask that you respect this space by being aware of the following terms (revised March 23, 2007):

General Rules and Guidelines

This forum is a community; users should respect the other participants in this community. In general, users should conduct themselves in respectful, appropriate ways that encourage inclusion and cooperation. Our users express a diverse range of opinion and knowledge, and disagreements can (and should) be handled in civilized ways.

More specifically, members and guests alike agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any applicable laws, including copyright laws. As well, posts that are created for the explicit purpose of criticizing in an unconstructive or insulting manner (commonly known as "flame" posts) will come under the scrutiny of the administrators and moderators. A post which is determined to be inappropriate (in any or all of the aforementioned ways) may be removed or split from the originating topic at the discretion of the administrators, and the author will be notified about the post in question.

The administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible. However, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore, you acknowledge that all posts made to this forum express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators, or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence they will not be held liable. The content of all posts remain the property of their respective authors, and can not be republished elsewhere in any form without the knowledge and consent of the author.

Users of this forum, whether registered or guest, are not to post under more than one identity. If you already have a registered account, do not register another (forgotten forum nicknames can be found - please contact a forum administrator for assistance). Guest posts are allowed in current forum, as long as they comply with these Terms.

In the event of inappropriate activity on this forum, violators may be subject to discliplinary action by the administration, including but not limited to: a warning from an administrator or moderator, a one-week ban from the forum, or a permanent ban if necessary. Furthermore, the webmaster, administrators, and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move, or close any topic at any time should they see fit.

As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While your private information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, the webmaster, administrator, and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised. Your email address is generally used only to confirm your registration details and password and to send new passwords should you forget your current one. Occasionally, the administrators may be required to contact you via your email address. Therefore, a valid email address is required.

This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above, they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure.

These terms may be updated at any time without notice. For more information on player guidelines, please see this post.

The IP address of each post is recorded in order to aid in the enforcement of this section of the TOS.

Responsibility of Contributors.

You are entirely responsible for the Content of, and any harm resulting from, that Content. That is the case regardless of whether the Content in question constitutes text, graphics, an audio file, or computer software.

By making Content available, you represent and warrant that:

By submitting Content to the forum, you grant the forum a world-wide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify, adapt and publish the Content solely for the purpose of displaying, distributing and promoting your blog. If you delete Content, the forum will use reasonable efforts to remove it from the forum, but you acknowledge that caching or references to the Content may not be made immediately unavailable.

If a user requests that his or her content be removed from the forum, the forum administrators will do the following. If the user's posts are self-contained and do not add significantly to a discussion thread, then it will be deleted and replaced with "This comment was deleted by the forum administrator".

If, however, the content adds to a discussion thread and would impair the discussion thread readability, then the comment will be appended with "This user was banned by an administrator for the contents of this post".

If the user no longer wishes to be a forum member, he or she will be marked as Banned. If the user wishes to continue to be a forum community member, then his role in the forum will be reviewed by the administrator and possibly changed.

Without limiting any of those representations or warranties, the forum has the right (though not the obligation) to, in the forum’s sole discretion (i) refuse or remove any content that, in the forum’s reasonable opinion, violates any forum policy or is in any way harmful or objectionable, or (ii) terminate or deny access to and use of the forum to any individual or entity for any reason, in the forum’s sole discretion.

Copyright Infringement and DMCA Policy. As the forum asks others to respect its intellectual property rights, it respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that material located on or linked to by this forum violates your copyright, you are encouraged to notify the forum in accordance with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (”DMCA”), the text of which can be found at the U.S. Copyright Office Web Site. The forum will respond to all such notices, including as required or appropriate by removing the infringing material or disabling all links to the infringing material. In the case of a visitor who may infringe or repeatedly infringes the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of the forum or others, the forum may, in its discretion, terminate or deny access to and use of the forum.
